Alison Wonderland is an Australian DJ and electronic music artist. Alexandra Margo Sholler was born in the Australian state of Victoria. The early years of her life and schooling Tolman had two brothers and a younger sister. The family relocated to England in the age of two weeks, and was there until she was four. Then she lived in Oklahoma for five years and later in West Texas before moving to Sugar Land. When she was 10-years-old, Fort Bend Community Theatre began giving acting classes. The show stars veterans Bob Odenkirk, Martin Freeman, and Billy Bob Thornton. Tolman has been praised for her performance as the role of Minnesota Police officer Molly Solverson. Vanity Fair said that Tolman was "calmly sure of taking over the whole the show". Tolman was praised for her character. She won the Critics' Choice Television Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Movie/Miniseries and received Best Actress nominations at the Emmy Awards and for the Golden Globes. Tolman's role as a guest on The Mindy Project, playing romance novelist Abby Berman for two episodes and was revealed the same day. The year 2015 was the last time she played an supporting part in Michael Dougherty's comedy horror film Krampus. Tolman declined character roles as supporting actors including best friends spouses, and mothers after her first big role on Fargo. She was looking for a unique role. Tolman's role on ABC Downward Dog was based on her role in the Animal Media Group Web Series. Following one season, the show was cancelled. Tolman was a part of ABC's Emergence drama which premiered on the 24th of September, 2019, however it was canceled by ABC following one year of airing on 21 May 2020, despite Tolman tweeting that the ratings were "pretty decent".
